Wolds Wine Estate: The New Nottingham Vineyard

Wolds Wine Estate, planted in March 2020, is a family run south Nottingham vineyard with luxury glamping pods. With farming and viticulture being part of our heritage we decided to refocus our lives so that we could spend more time with the people close to our hearts and doing things that we love.

It’s a steep learning curve setting up a vineyard but we are tackling it head on. We hope that we can provide our local communities of Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Keyworth, Tollerton and West Bridgford (to name a few) with spectacular artisan English wines.

Our luxury glamping pods in the vineyard are perfect for romantic, active and family getaways. We have four pods each with their own bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms and sun decks. A perfect place for a tranquil and unique rural retreat.

Our People

Rob

Having spent time working on a wine estate in Italy, with one of the oldest wineries in Umbria, Rob is keen to transfer his skills to develop English wine within the family run vineyard.

Louise

Louise takes her learnings from time spent on the wine and fruit estates of Northern Italy and her customer focus to help grow our family wine estate brand and engage with the local communities.

Raffaella

Growing up in the wine producing mountains of Northern Italy Raffaella has farming in her blood. She mixes her heritage with her business experience to help ensure Wolds Wine Estate is a commercial success.

Roger

An original Lincolnshire lad Roger manages the estate grounds ensuring we are a proud part of the great British countryside. As a successful entrepreneur he brings a sound business mind to the equation too.

Matt

Matt's love for vineyard life stemmed from working French vineyards before joining Kent's Gusbourne Estate. Matt joined us in 2023 to lead our tours and get involved in all aspects of the business. Passionate, engaging and full of stories.
