Description: Damson red colour. Aroma of damson and cherry with savoury undertones. Flavour of black and cassis with depth of minerality on the aftertaste. Good length and tannin give a pleasant finish. An English wine in the Beaujolais style.

Story: Premium grapes handpicked from Rothley Wine Estate’s Leicestershire vineyard. King Richard III probably passed nearby as he travelled from Nottingham castle to Leicester prior to the fateful Battle of Bosworth. This wine is named for his nemesis, Henry Tudor.
